Hey all,
When the year 6/7s went on their camp at El Shaddai, I stayed behind and helped out around the school. I Helped out in Mrs Cherrys class, Mrs Sheps, Mrs Whetleys, Mrs Mathews and Mrs Brooks class. It was great fun and the children (and teachers) were awesome. I really liked it because I got treated as a teacher.
Although I had great fun I still really missed my friends while they were gone, and I was very happy when they got back .
I hope they all had as much fun on camp as I did staying behind.

Hello everyone,
This term we have had the festival of music. During the year our choir has been practising all of the choir songs and getting ready for the big performance. We had 1 practice session, with everyone in the performance, at ‘Magic Millions’ and another one at the Festival theatre. On saturday (12-9-09) we had our big performance. It was great fun. There was a massive audience and I think they really enjoyed it. The troup was great and made and the soloist were fantastic.
I had great fun and i hope everyone else did too.

These last few weeks we have been learning about endangered animals. We had to create a mind map with ways that animals become endangered and what country the animal comes from and what the animal is. First we designed our mind map in our draft book. Now we have stared to create or mind map on the computer.
I borrowed a book from the library called ‘The Atlas on Endangered Animals’. I am finding it really interesting and i am getting lots of facts out of it. It tells you about all the endangered animals in each country and why they are endangered.
This week Pam brought in a dvd on Cassowaries. I really enjoyed it. It was so interesting and I learnt lots from it. Believe it or not I didnt even know that they were endangered!
I would really like to help the endangered animals. That is why i am thinking of ‘addopting’ an animal like a Orang Utan.
What would you do to help save the endangered animals?

love always, Tarn xx
